Reimagine Church Conference 2018

On 8 March 2018, more than 250 people from around the West Midlands gathered at the Church at Carrs Lane, Birmingham, for the ReImagine Church Conference, which was co-sponsored by the Birmingham and Wolverhampton & Shewsbury Districts, with support from the Discipleship and Ministries Learning Network.

New FE Chaplaincy Support for West Midlands Region

The West Midlands region has a new part time chaplaincy development worker from 1 January 2018!  Phil Metcalf has recently worked as an FE college chaplain.  His brief is to develop chaplaincy in FE colleges in the West Midlands region where there isn't any, and support the development of existing chaplaincy teams.

New Circuit Priorities and a New Circuit Model

For the last few years we have been on a journey to seek and find new ways in which we might improve and develop our model of circuit and to better understand our purpose as Methodists in Birmingham. Along the way we have consulted with all of our churches and we believe we have found a new purpose statement and a new model that will resource and empower our churches and their members.
