There are several regular events which happen in our circuit. These are listed below.
- Heretics Anonymous - This circuit bible study group, run by Superintendent Minister Tony Malcolm, occurs at The Church at Carrs Lane on the third Monday of each month from 7:30 - 9:15pm. All are welcome.
- Northfield Methodist Church's English Conversation Cafe - If you or someone you know needs to practice their English, why not head to this cafe which happens each Tuesday morning from 9:30-11:30am during term-time.
- Solihull Methodist Church's Lunchtime Recitals - A great way to spend a lunchtime. Why not head along on the first Thursday of each month from 1-1:30pm and take your sandwiches.
Thursday Cafe every 1st and 3rd thursday at Solihull Methodist Church. - A place to gather with friends and make new friends. All are welcome to Drop-in between 2pm and 4pm to share coffee and cakes.

Citizens UK invite you to join civil society leaders from across the region to what will be the largest non-partisan event of the West Midlands Mayoral race. This is event is free but you will need to book a ticket to attend, see details below.
The local councils have come together to create a West Midlands Combined Authority, headed by an elected Mayor with each Council leader. In May 2017, we will be going to polling stations to decide who takes office as the first Mayor for our region. S/he will lead decisions on transport, mental health, housing, skills and public sector reform which will significantly affect the lives and prospects of people across our communities.
With a strong civil society agenda rooted in what matters to our families and communities, Citizens UK invite you to join them on Wednesday 29th March 2017 as they seek pledges from the main Mayoral Candidates to those priorities.
This major ticket only event in Edgbaston will be the largest pre-election Assembly in the run-up to next May. It will not be a public meeting nor a political hustings. It will be hosted by the University of Birmingham in the Great Hall of its Edgbaston Campus on Wednesday 29th of March 2017, at 6pm. Amidst joyful celebrations and powerful stories we are organising up to 1000 citizens from across the West Midlands to be in attendance to hear the candidates make public commitments.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - CS Lewis’s classic tale dramatized by Adrian Mitchell and music by Shaun Davey.
The music and drama group of Solihull Methodist Church, SMASH, will be presenting The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on Wednesday to Saturday, March 29th to April 1st 2017, (matinee and evening performances on Saturday).
The production will be at theatrespace in Solihull Methodist Church and will be the second production to be staged there following Children of Eden in 2016.
This musical version was commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company and recounts C S Lewis’s classic tale of four children, evacuated from London during the Blitz. While exploring the Professor’s house, Lucy stumbles across a wardrobe, gateway to another world. The land of Narnia is under the spell of the wicked White Witch making it always winter but never Christmas. But Aslan, the great Lion, is on the move to save Narnia from the power of the White Witch. The four children find themselves caught up in a deadly struggle between the powers of good and evil.
