Young People Gathered From Across The Circuit - Story Below

The Church at Carrs Lane in Birmingham City Centre was the venue for an afternoon of seminars and workshops specially designed for Young Leaders drawn from across the Circuit, followed by an evening of praise and dance. Special guest for the day was Methodist Youth President Tim Annan. Also attending the evening event was STANCE, a dance team from Youth For Christ (YFC) who presented a number of street dance routines, including lots of audience participation.

Tim’s message of Youth engagement in a modern era was complimented by personal testimony of God’s healing and answered prayer from members of the YFC dance team. Games and a quiz were followed by worship led by local worship leaders from churches across the circuit.

Feedback from the day included: “It was lovely to see young people of all ages and from all backgrounds join together from across the City to celebrate together and to hear directly from our Youth President. Young People have a vital role to play and the Young Leaders who volunteered to help set-up and run the day did a super job, giving everyone a warm welcome and assisting with catering and clearing away.”

Future events are being planned.
